CAP 3000 WELCOMES A NEW 32,000-FT2 (3,000-M2) MALL AND OPENS 12 RETAIL SHOPS
The Cap 3000 shopping center in Saint-Laurent-du-Var is home to a new and
redesigned 32,000-ft2 (3,000-m2) mall made up of 12 new shops and restaurants:
Desigual (7,500 ft2 / 700m2), American Vintage, Guess, Comptoir des Cotonniers,
Sud Express, Massimo Dutti, G-Star, Zapa, Préférences (luxury leather goods),
Starbucks, Muze (concept store) and Misaki (cultured pearls).
Desigual, Guess, Sud Express, Massimo Dutti, G-Star, Zapa and Starbucks will
open on June 28, 2012; Comptoir des Cotonniers in July; Préférences and
American Vintage in August; Muze and Misaki in September.
The new mall extends across the Central Plaza from the Porte de Nice to the
Porte de Cannes. It is named "Saint-Jean Cap Ferrat," after the lush green
penninsula located 6 miles (10 km) from Nice.
The Central Plaza was renovated for the occasion, and now features a relaxation
area and an activity area, along with more kiosks and a new Reception Center.
This center offers Cap 3000 customers a variety of services, including a
concierge service, a cloakroom and a health insurance office.
Acquired by Altarea Cogedim in 2010, Cap 3000 ranks among the largest shopping
centers in France. It features France's third-largest Apple Store, the second
largest nation-wide pharmacy, Galeries Lafayette and Lafayette Gourmet, and
more than 150 shops and restaurants.
