Launch of BIO-SCAN(TM), the only French system certified by two independent
laboratories, designed to eliminate bacteria and viruses, including SARS-CoV-2,
from all surfaces using UV-C rays

BIO-UV Group (Ticker: ALTUV), with 20 years of expertise in systems for
treating and disinfecting water using UV-C and a leader in the disinfection
industry, announces its chemical-free process for disinfecting surfaces in just
a few seconds has been certified by two independent laboratories.

At the end of May, the market launch of this simple, mobile, convenient, and
user-friendly system will be an effective response that will eliminate micro-
organisms including SARS-CoV-2 (coronavirus) from all types of surfaces.
Biofaq Laboratoires (Carso Group), the leading European provider of
environmental and agrifood testing, and C4 Diagnostics, a French biotech
specialized in diagnosing infectious diseases, completed the certification
based on the internationally-recognized NFT 81273 standard according to a very
strict protocol.

The performance achieved by these two series of tests is remarkable, with
abatement levels(1) of 4 logs on viruses and 5 logs on bacteria, representing
99.99% (1/10,000) and 99.999% (1/100,000), respectively.

These results validate BIO-SCAN's(TM) capacity to disinfect and inactivate all
types of micro-organisms using UV-C technology, including SARS-CoV-2
(coronavirus), and place BIO-UV Group in the top tier of the world's companies
that have obtained such performance for a surface-disinfecting system, designed
and manufactured in France.

Today, virtually all hygiene and disinfection procedures are done with
chemicals, primarily bleach, alcohol, formaldehyde, and quaternary ammonium.
Some of these old methods are hazardous to health and the environment, and the
protocols currently in place increase the dosages, which can impact materials
on contact and even expose people close to these chemicals. UV-C rays only
require the operator to use eye or skin protection. They are chemical-free and
without side effects.

UV-C disinfection technology has been around for a long time. Invented in
Marseille, France, in 1904, it was little known until recently and mainly used
to disinfect water. It is also highly suitable for surfaces and indoor areas.
This product is designed to be easy to use, mobile, light, and suitable for
disinfecting all surfaces (waiting room chairs, beds, examination tables,
keyboards, dental or physical therapy offices, ambulances, etc.) in just a few
seconds.

(1) Abatement log: a measure of the inactivation level achieved; the difference
between the number of micro-organisms present before and after disinfection.
Abatement is generally expressed as a decimal logarithm.

The current health emergency and long-term changes in habits have compelled
BIO-UV Group to develop a product line for these applications, in a record
time.

BIO-SCAN(TM) for small surfaces and objects is the first step in this new line
and new division, in addition to our marine (BIO-SEA) and ground applications
for water treatment.

Indeed, in the weeks and months to come, after BIO-SCAN(TM), the process
designed for surfaces, will be followed by a process for means of
transportation and indoor areas to treat larger volumes and surfaces in just a
few minutes. As usual with the Group, these systems will be validated and
certified to the highest standards.

As the effectiveness and high performance of the BIO-SCAN(TM) process has
already been proven, it will be released on the market at a public (end-user)
sale price of about EUR1,300 excluding tax. BIO-UV Group has received a number
of sizeable requests for many applications and is currently organizing the
various distribution channels in France and for export, with the imminent
arrival of a Head of Sales in charge of surface activities.

On the manufacturing side, the Group has secured its production capacity with
the addition of an experienced subcontractor.

BIO-UV Group is prioritizing medical and paramedical professionals (hospital
staff, community doctors, nursing homes, dentists, physical therapists,
firefighters, paramedics, etc.). BIO-UV Group will also target sectors such as
hospitality, food service, transport, cleaning, business, industry, and retail.
As such, the Company is currently developing several products to meet the
specific needs of each of these markets. In addition, our subsidiary TRIOGEN is
developing an ozone-based disinfection system for damp surfaces.

Along with these new developments, business and sales momentum in the Group's
ground and marine activities continue to grow.

As a result, BIO-UV Group confirms that it is confident it will meet its
targets for the 2020 fiscal year, with robust growth in both revenue and
EBITDA.

BIO-UV Group's management and all the company's teams, are fully committed to

and the execution of the strategic plan for its historical activities.
