Alstom's contribution to Bouygues' third-quarter and fourth-quarter 2011
net profit
Alstom reported results for its first half of FY201 1/12 on 3 November 2011.
On the basis of this information and given the difference between the end of
first half of the financial years of Alstom (30 September) and Bouygues (30
June), Alstom's contribution to Bouygues' net profit in third-quarter 2011
stood at EUR40 million versus EUR23 million in third-quarter 2010.
On the basis of currently available information, Alstom's contribution to
Bouygues' net profit in fourth-quarter 2011 is estimated at EUR56 million
versus -EUR4 million in fourth-quarter 2010.
In accordance with the calculation method used by Bouygues, this contribution
is assessed from Alstom's last reported half-year figures available at the date
the Bouygues group will close its full-year financial statements, ie the first
half of FY2011/12.
Nine-month 2011 sales and earnings of the Bouygues group
will be reported on 15 November 2011 at 5.45pm (CET).
