Results of the 2020 dividend reinvestment plan
At the Annual Meeting on May 11, 2021, Edenred shareholders approved the
payment of a 2020 dividend of EUR0.75 per share, with the option of reinvesting
100% of the dividend in new shares.
The option of reinvesting the dividend in shares was available from May 18 to
June 2, 2021. At the end of the option period, 67% of rights were exercised in
favor of the dividend payment in shares. This led to the issuance of 3,004,708
new shares of Edenred common stock, representing 1.22% of the share capital,
which will be settled and begin trading on the Euronext Paris stock market on
June 9, 2021.
The new shares carry dividend rights from January 1, 2021 and rank pari passu
with existing shares of Edenred common stock. Following the issue, the
Company's share capital comprises 249,588,059 shares.
The total cash dividend, in an amount of EUR61 million, will be paid on June 9,
2021.
