Eiffage and Arcade-VYV consortium named preferred bidder by the French Ministry
of Armed Forces for the first housing management concession granted in France

Working in consortium, Eiffage and Arcade-VYV have been recently designated
preferred bidder on France's first concession contract for outsourced
management of housing estate owned in France by the Ministry of Armed Forces.

This 35-year contract relates to "Ambition Logements", a programme within the
Ministry of Armed Forces Family Plan that aims to expand housing provision for
Ministry personnel, with ambitious environmental goals.

One of the consortium's assignments will be the renovation of more than 8,000
dwellings with the aim of improving their energy performance and the
construction of some 3,000 new dwellings on 55 sites across France using
low-carbon methods. Eiffage Construction will be carrying out the building
works.

Almost 4,000 dwellings currently managed by other providers under
administrative leaseholds will also be reincorporated into the housing stock
during the contract and duly renovated.

The consortium will also be responsible for the maintenance of all housing
stock for the duration of the contract, as well for improving the quality of
the lease management service. It will use various digital tools and service
packages to enhance the day-to-day experience for tenants and their families,
including during transition periods such as when transferring to a new area.
Arcade-VYV will be responsible for managing the housing stock.

This major contract is expected to be signed at the end of the year. Following
a handover period with the current management provider, effective management
will start in early 2023.
