Key event
On June 13 2019, the French Ministry for the Ecological and Inclusive
Transition announced that it had chosen a consortium comprising Eiffage (lead)
and APRR as "single preferred bidder" for the RCEA concession.
The project involves widening and upgrading to motorway standards a section of
the RN 79 national road between Sazeret (Allier) and Digoin (Saône-et-Loire).
This operation is part of a plan to enhance safety on the Route Centre-Europe
Atlantique.
(*) Reminder: the application of IFRIC 12 from 1st January 2009 requires the
recognition of revenue generated by construction activities, which corresponds
to infrastructure construction services performed by the concession operator
for the account of the concession grantor, this work being entrusted to third
parties and recognised using the percentage of completion method.
