FIGEAC AÉRO (FR0011665280 – FGA:FP), a leading partner for major aerospace manufacturers, is today announcing the appointment of Franck Porier as Head of CSR.

This appointment fits into the Group's drive to incorporate CSR into the very heart of its development model.

Franck Porier's new responsabilities will include structuring and coordinating the CSR strategy to be applied by the Group and each of its subsidiaries. He will also oversee Group efforts to consolidate and build on its CSR reporting capabilities. As a member of the Executive Committee, Franck Porier will report to General Management and work together with the whole spectrum of stakeholders and contributing entities through a network of CSR ambassadors operating at a local level.

Franck Porier is a renowned professional with over 30 years of experience in the aerospace sector, acquired both at Ratier Figeac and later at the FIGEAC AÉRO Group and its subsidiaries, and specialising in surface treatment and special processes. In addition, he has qualifications in the fields of business management and CSR. He will also remain in his current role as Head of Surface Treatment Development, a business line in which sustainability issues are of particular importance.

“Surface treatment is an activity that ties in closely with R&D, innovation and the REACH regulation, for instance, so I was already very much in tune with CSR issues”, notes Franck Porier. “I therefore see my new duties as being a perfectly natural progression. I will do my utmost to take an active part in being attentive to our stakeholders, raising awareness of environmental matters among all our staff members and, more generally, beefing up our societal engagement, notably under Europe's CSRD.”

This development is a reflection of FIGEAC AÉRO‘s determination to give CSR issues a central role in the Group's development model, which is geared towards creating substantial value for all stakeholders by combining long-term vision, profitable growth and sustainable approach.
