First quarter revenue up 9.6%
Continuing the favourable trend of 2009 year-end, first-quarter revenue was up
9.6% over the same period last year on the strength of significant gains in
volume by the Group's main products, primarily outside Europe.
In Europe, revenue grew 2.6% on positive momentum for Dotarem despite a
competitive environment that remains challenging.
Other markets now account for 24% of total Group revenue, up from 19% in 2009.
Dotarem's expansion in key countries outside Europe has been facilitated by its
wellrecognized qualities.
Xenetix posted gains in all regions of the world, particularly in Latin America.
