Ordinary & Extraordinary Shareholders' General Meeting of May 4, 2020

Preliminary notice for the Annual Shareholders' General Meeting of Imerys
convened on Monday, May 4 2020 at 2:30 PM Paris time, was published today in
the French Bulletin d'Annonces Légales Obligatoires (Bulletin of Mandatory
Legal Announcements or BALO, in French only). It includes the agenda of this
Shareholders' General Meeting, the drafts of resolutions that will be submitted
to the shareholders' vote, as well as the conditions to participate and vote.
The documents and information concerning the Shareholders' General Meeting will
be available in accordance with the legal and regulatory provisions at Imerys'
head office, on its corporate website and from CACEIS Corporate Trust.

Warning: in view of the coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic, the practical details
to attend and vote to this Shareholders' General Meeting, due to take place at
NEW CAP Event Center, 3 quai de Grenelle, 75015 Paris (France) are likely to
change depending on the sanitary and/or legal directives and upon decision of
