Belfort, 3 April 2014LISI is conducting exclusive negotiations with a view to the acquisition of
the Manoir Aerospace group
The LISI Group is conducting exclusive negotiations with the shareholders of
the Manoir Aerospace group, with a view to the acquisition of all the shares
which they hold in the Manoir Aerospace group.
The purpose of this acquisition is to strengthen the "Structural Components"
division of LISI AEROSPACE and the incorporation of additional metal-forming
technologies. The Manoir Aerospace group specializes mainly in the forging of
metal parts, exclusively for aeronautical applications. The group achieved
sales of EUR164 million in 2013 with a headcount of approximately 1,100
employees spread over three production facilities in France, one in Belgium
and one in Mexico.
The planned acquisition will be subject to consultation with the workers'
councils of the respective entities and the approval of the French competition
authority.
The LISI Group is a leading manufacturer of fasteners and assembly components
for the aerospace, automotive and medical implants industries, with 2013 sales
of EUR1,149 million and a headcount of more than 9,000 employees.
