Belfort, 5 June 2014THE LISI GROUP CONFIRMS THE COMPLETION OF THE ACQUISITION OF 100% OF THE
SHARES IN THE MANOIR AEROSPACE GROUP
The LISI Group (Euronext Paris - ISIN code: FR 0000050353) today announces the
completion of the acquisition of 100% of shares of the Manoir Aerospace group.
This announcement concludes the process initiated by the press release dated
3 April 2014; it confirms LISI AEROSPACE's strategy aimed at strengthening its
"Structural Components" business with the integration of additional
metal-forming technologies. The Manoir Aerospace group specialises mainly in
the forging of metal parts, exclusively for aeronautical applications.
The acquisition of the Manoir Aerospace group was completed LISI AEROSPACE
CREUZET, the 100%-owned subsidiary of LISI AEROSPACE. The LISI AEROSPACE
division thus comprises the "Fasteners" business and the "Structural
Components" business, which includes LISI AEROSPACE CREUZET, a specialist in
structural components and technical assemblies, and the Manoir Aerospace group.
With a headcount of approximately 1,100 people spread over three sites in
France, one in Belgium and one in Mexico, the Manoir Aerospace group achieved
sales of EUR164 million in 2013.
This acquisition therefore represents a major new step in the development of
the LISI Group.
The transaction is effective today. As a consequence, the Manoir Aerospace
group will be consolidated in the balance sheet of the LISI group in the first
half of fiscal year 2014 and in its income statement from the second half on.
The LISI Group is one of the worldwide leaders in screwed and clipped fasteners
and mechanical safety components for the Aerospace, Automotive and Medical
sectors, with 2013 sales of EUR1149 million and a headcount of more than 9000
people.
