Orascom Development Holding AG announces results of rights offering

Altdorf, 26 April 2023 – Orascom Development Holding AG announces the results of the rights offering: Until the end of the rights exercise period at 12:00 noon CEST on 26 April 2023, 73.8% of the subscription rights were exercised, corresponding to 14,188,875 new registered shares. 5,039,742 offered shares for which rights were not validly exercised were purchased by the Samih O. Sawiris family, through an entity controlled by them, for an aggregate amount of CHF 35,278,194.00 in cash at the same conditions as for the other shareholders.

Trading in the new registered shares on SIX Swiss Exchange is scheduled to commence, and delivery of the new registered shares against payment of the offer price is expected to occur, on 28 April 2023.
