New commercial success on a major public services management contract

Séché Environnement wins a EUR 420 million contract over 20 years with the
Urban Community of Strasbourg and accelerates its development in the East of
France.

Séché Environnement has been awarded the public services contract for the
operation and optimization of the household waste incinerator of the Urban
Community of Strasbourg.

The 20-year contract, which will take effect on July 6, 2010, is worth
approximately EUR 420 million and is expected to generate around EUR 9 million
in revenue for 2010.

Reduction of volumes of waste treated, improvement of energetic output and power
production, this operation is the first significant realization in keeping with
the pattern of the Grenelle de l'Environnement Round Table policy.

This promising success reinforces Séché Environnement on new markets bringing
significant growth opportunities: markets of public services management for
environmental services in France and internationally.

Innovative solutions combining industrial performance with environmental
excellence, in the spirit of the Grenelle de l'Environnement policy.

Séché Environnement's dedicated subsidiary, Senerval, will operate and
modernize the household waste incinerator of the Urban Community of Strasbourg
in order to improve its energy efficiency and environmental performance.
The incinerator handles 260,000 tons of household and similar waste generated by
the Community (28 districts) and surrounding areas.

In industrial terms, Séché Environnement will focus on improving the factory's
energy performance. In line with the recommendations of the Grenelle Environment
Round Table, the contract provides for the reduction by one quarter of its
incineration capacity and the creation of a methanization facility for the
organic fraction of household waste. After mechanical sorting, this fraction
will produce biogas for cogeneration (production of electricity and heat), and
with the energy recovered, an extension of heating network for 4,500 households
within the Community will be serviced.

In environmental terms, Séché Environnement will adapt the facility's
equipment to ensure the optimization of its combustion process and the
modernization of its wastewater treatment.

Altogether, the refurbishments proposed by Séché Environnement will guarantee
the continuity of the public service and bring innovative solutions to the
Community's needs in terms of energy recovery and the preservation of natural
resources.

Mobilization of skills and alliance of expertise

Séché Environnement's ability to combine the complementary skills of Trédi,
which specializes in waste incineration and is already present in Strasbourg,
with those Séché Éco-industries, which specializes in the processing and
recovery of Non-Hazardous Waste, was a key driver in winning this public
services contract.

The Group will naturally maintain the current staff, i.e. approximately
50 people.

The investment needed for the modernization of the facility is estimated at
EUR 41 million and will be made between 2010 and 2013. According to Rule
IFRIC 12, these investments will be booked as intangible assets.

Confirmed success of Séché Environnement's enlarged commercial offer on new
growth markets

This long term contract spreads Séché Environnement's commercial position on
NonHazardous Waste businesses in the East of France, where the Group is already
present on the Hazardous Waste treatment market.

After the Group's successful SYDOM11 bid mid-2009 for the creation and operation
of a facility for the production of waste-generated bio energy in Lassac (Aude),
this major contract reinforces Séché Environnement's position on buoyant
markets: the public services management markets for environmental services.

This highly visible public services contract underlines the acknowledgement by
large local authorities of the technical and environmental know-how Séché
Environnement has developed to enlarge its Non-Hazardous Waste treatment and
recovery offer.

This success once again demonstrates Séché Environnement's attractive
positioning and ability to bring innovative solutions to the needs and
expectations of local communities, in France and abroad, in terms of
environmental services.
