For the upcoming seasons, MySports is joining forces with the media companies CH Media and the Blick Group to make the National League, its clubs and protagonists accessible to the biggest possible audience. The new MySports distribution strategy focuses on the sustainable, cross-channel expansion of the National League's visibility. Matthias Krieb, Head of MySports, explains: «By acquiring all rights to broadcast live National League games and highlights until 2027, we can continue producing high-quality ice hockey content with MySports and distribute it together with our partners in a way that benefits the league, the clubs and the fans. To this end, we have adapted our distribution concept to allow our target groups and those of the league to consume more ice hockey in the future - wherever they are, online or offline. In concrete terms, this means that consumers will be able to watch more ice hockey on free TV, more highlight videos online and via an app, and overall benefit from more possibilities to witness the clubs and their players, both on and off the ice.»

Strong partnerships with high potential for innovation

With CH Media, MySports will benefit from a partnership with the market leader among private TV providers in Switzerland, a company with regional roots that has steadily expanded its reach over the past years. The Blick Group is a flagship provider of sports content, especially in the digital area, with proven competency in ice hockey and a strong online presence that draws about 1.2 million sports-loving users per day. Denis Vaucher, CEO of the National League, comments: «MySports is championing our sport in a future-oriented way and opening up new ways and possibilities to distribute the sport of ice hockey as a whole together with its partners CH Media and the Blick Group. More games and summaries on free TV and online starting with the 2022/2023 season

As usual, ice hockey fans will be able to watch all National League games and goals on MySports, with exciting evenings of ice hockey rounded off with professional and entertaining studio shows and discussions with Jann Billeter and a range of other hockey experts. In addition, one National League game per week will be available on TV24 and Blick.ch, and these partners will regularly show post-game daily highlights. The specific distribution plans for German-speaking Switzerland, Romandie and Ticino will be finalized over the coming months. These will comprise attractive solutions tailored to the respective market conditions of each language region. Details and any additional partners will be communicated in due course.
