Sale of the Sodeco Sedin business
Sodeco, a Thermador Groupe subsidiary, has sold 80% of its French subsidiary
business, Sodeco Sedin, based in Mont Saint-Aignan (Seine-Maritime county) for
EUR550,000 to Bouley Sedin based in La Vaupalière (Seine-Maritime county).
In 2017, Sodeco Sedin reported EUR3.1m turnover, primarily in Normandy. It
currently employs 5 people.
Bouley Sedin, a specialist in the sale of industrial valves and supplies to
industry, reported EUR4m turnover in 2017. It is a longstanding customer of
three Thermador Groupe subsidiaries (Sodeco, Sferaco and Sectoriel), currently
employs 10 people and operates in Normandy and the Hauts de France region.
This transaction allows Bouley Sedin to expand its product and service offering
to industry and forecast annual turnover of EUR6.5m in the very short-term.
The remaining business of Sodeco Sedin (20%) is primarily made up of turnover
with wholesalers. This will quickly be taken up by Sferaco.
