Thermador Groupe confirms its acquisition of all the shares in Sanidom, a
company based in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés (France, Val-de-Marne county) for a
total of EUR22m cash. For the purchase, Thermador Groupe took out two bank
loans, at a very competitive fixed rate, with CIC Lyonnaise de Banque and
Société Générale, both for 5-years.
Sanidom is a lead holding company, which fully owns Etablissements Edouard
Rousseau based in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, Rousseau S.A. based in Getafe (Spain,
Madrid), and Manupex based in Etigny (France, Yonne county). This group of
companies reported consolidated turnover in 2017 of EUR35.3m (before IFRS 15)
and an operating profit of EUR2.86m with a total head count of 92.
They sell to DIY superstores and major food retailers in France and Spain with
a very comprehensive range of bathroom and kitchen taps.
The main purpose of the operation is to combine the strengths and assets of
Dipra (Thermador Groupe subsidiary) and Sanidom to create a single company
within the next 3 years, better equipped to meet the growing demands of its
very big customers in the most efficient way possible.
