Commissioning of the PAGAP solar power plant in France (5 MW)
Voltalia (Euronext Paris, ISIN code: FR0011995588), an international player in
renewable energies, announces today the commissioning of the PAGAP (Parc
d'Activité de Grenoble Air Parc) solar power plant in metropolitan France
The PAGAP plant (Parc d'Activité de Grenoble Air Parc) is a 5 MW photovoltaic
solar power plant located in Saint-Etienne- de-Saint-Geoirs, in the
Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
The power plant, which construction was announced in February 2018(1), benefits
from a 20-year contract for difference effective from the plant's
commissioning.
As for all of Voltalia's own projects, the operation and maintenance of the
site will be managed in-house.
The plant is equipped with circa 16,700 panels, with a 300 Wp unit capacity,
and the electricity produced will cover the consumption of approximately 4,000
people.
This project, located on a ZAC ("Zone d'Aménagement Concerté"- joint
development zone) next to Grenoble airport enables the upgrade of an
artificialised land.
