                                    Profile

    2018 Report on e-commerce in France: EUR93bn Online sales up 13.4%

For the 12th year, Oxatis (ALOXA - FR0013328184) has partnered with the French
E-commerce and Remote Selling Federation (FEVAD) and Ernst & Young to present
the results of its study focused on e- commerce at SMEs. The e-commerce market
is growing sharply in France, and was valued at EUR93 billion in 2018.

E-commerce is a driver of profitable growth

According to the E-merchant Profile, 83% of French VSEs/SMEs(1) have an
e-commerce site that breaks even or generates profit. The proportion of
profitable sites has increased by 20 points since 2017 and is now over 50%.

Beyond the additional income generated by e-commerce, companies that manage a
website and a traditional brick-and-mortar store are witnessing increased
footfall in their stores and a more than 10% increase in point-of-sale revenue.

E-commerce, a consistently growing market

The market trend was confirmed in 2018. B2C sales via e-commerce sites totalled
EUR92.6 billion in France, a 13.4% increase (according to the 2018 Report on
e-commerce in France and FEVAD). The number of B2C orders rose 20.7% compared
to 2017 to exceed 1.5 billion. Merchant sites are continuing to be created,
with a year- on-year increase of 12.6%, representing 21,800 additional sites
and almost 200,000 active merchant sites in total.

The e-commerce market is expected to break through the EUR100 billion revenue
barrier in 2019.
