Greystar has acquired the residential project development "HAR6" in Hamburg Harburg from BPD Immobilienentwicklung. The forward deal is part of Greystar's develop-to-core venture with a global institutional investor to build a diversified, high-quality rental apartment portfolio in Germany and Austria. A total of 234 micro-apartments and privately financed rental apartments as well as 2,060 square meters of retail space and an underground car park with 28 parking spaces will be built on the around 3,200 square meter leasehold on the Harburger Ring in an eleven-story new building. The project development is expected to be completed in 2024.
