CNIM and MARTIN combine their expertise in the energy-from-waste and-biomass
business to address the South and South East Asian market
A new company, CNIM MARTIN Pvt.Ltd., is set-up in Chennai, India (Tamil Nadu
state) and will be jointly operated by CNIM and MARTIN.
Equally owned by the two companies, it will strengthen a more than 50-year long
partnership.
Paris/Munich - November 28, 2017 - CNIM and MARTIN announce the establishment
of a company dedicated to energy-from-waste and -biomass in order to develop
their business activities in the targeted markets.
Located in Chennai in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, this company will rely on
the two partners' expertise and know-how to deliver turnkey solutions to public
authorities and private customers.
The company will offer the whole range of CNIM and MARTIN expertise in the
design, construction and delivery of turnkey energy-from-waste and biomass
plants, combustion and flue gas treatment technologies, revamping services
aiming at improving energy and environmental performance.
These are the assets that both partners will offer to the targeted market while
applying their wide range of services and technologies to local industrial
characteristics and maintaining proven environmental standards.

CNIM.

companies' proprietary technologies combined with our positioning as
engineering contractors as well as equipment and services providers will enable
us to respond to the issues that players in the waste treatment market are now

To date, more than 470 plants in 34 countries have been equipped with more than
900 lines with MARTIN grate combustion technology, treating close to 320.000
tons per day of municipal household waste.
CNIM has designed and delivered 167 turnkey waste-to-energy centers (including
285 lines) handling waste generated by more than 100 million people globally.
It has also delivered almost 300 biomass-to-energy facilities and more than 400
flue-gas treatment systems. CNIM also operates 13 waste and biomass treatment
sites, including 9 in France.
